This is my second pending job with Ohio basement. The inspector, James Sandlin, was on time, communicative and extremely easy to work with. He was very thorough and was at my home for several hours taking a wide variety of measurements. His recommendation was in line what I assumed I needed and gave me confidence in my purchase decision. For this critical type of work I highly recommend James and Ohio basement.

5 star review but the Only issue is that 2 of the guys that were here working was using real bad language thankfully my children weren't around but they were yelling and using it across my yard at each other so my neighbors with small kids most likely heard them . They also left nail gun nails all in my driveway which could of been bad if myself or someone else ran them over. They left some trash throughout my carport.

Just a quick shout out to American Foundation Specialists, Tommy, Jeremy and Dylan for getting our dining room floor and floor joists replaced. We had water damage from Hurricane Katrina in the original portion of our home that was built in 1909. Over the last 20 years, the old wood flooring began to deteriorate. The construction team members from AFS were very professional, and maintained a clean work area. They even identified a small gas leak that had to be dealt with by Spire Energy. Ron and Chris were excellent! They did a thorough inspection and went over the process in detail. Covered everything about what the job would entail and every option I had. When I got the quote for the price it was out of my budget so they worked with me to come up with an alternative plan for the job and a financing option that fit my budget. Also while talking with them we developed a friendly relationship and these guys have exceptional people skills, are professional and can hold a real conversation all while getting the work done and not wasting any time. I never felt pressured in to anything I wasn’t comfortable with. They are very knowledgeable about the subject and we’re able to answer all my questions. This company seems to solve what’s causing the actual problem, not just fix what you can see. I’d recommend them to anyone having any water problems in their basements.
