I contacted three companies to get an evaluation of my home's foundation. AFS Inspector Johnathan Gleason provided a thorough review with photos of areas that need repair and also measured the level of my floor inside my house. His quoted price was reasonable and fair compared to the other two estimates I received (though not the lowest). The thoroughness of the inspection and recommendations from neighbors won AFS the project. The work was scheduled at my convenience and the team called 30 minutes before arrival. Their three-man crew consisted of Mathew Ridley, Coby Stealey, and Shawn Lowe who arrived on time and set to work quickly and efficiently. They completed the majority of the work in a few hours, but decided to substitute a wooden support beam with a steel I-Beam to give the repair more structure. This required a trip back the next day and was completed in a short time. They did not charge extra for the more expensive steel beam. This project was well-organized and well-executed. Good communication throughout and sincere concern for the customer. A very pleasant, and refreshing experience. I recommend AFS and my team to anyone who needs foundation work well and priced fairly. Beginning with Daniel Jaber and concluding with the crew who resolved the water problem in my basement laundry room—Jacob, Tim, and M.G.—everyone was courteous and professional. By the time the crew finished, they had cleaned up the worksite so well that you couldn't even tell they had dug a trench in my yard! On the day the work began, I confided to Jacob that I was a bit nervous about the work ahead. He looked at me at said, "Sir, we understand, your home is your investment and your family's security; we know that. That's why we work at each home like it were our own family's home, we'll take care of it. That put my mind at ease.

This same issue had been looked at by another source a year ago with no resolution. It took ******* less than 15 minutes to assess and find the problem. He explained everything to me and had it resolved that afternoon.Beyond his repairs, I found ******* to be a warm and personable individual, taking time to listen and understand my questions and concerns. I appreciated his time and attention to all we discussed related to our home. He made the entire visit easy and pleasant.

We had a fairly large project completed by Groundworks. The team that worked on our house (Rene Renteria, Manuel Garcia and Lu Khin) were very professional and communicative (even our neighbors were loved them). They exceeded our expectations with their work and craftsmanship. We had several piers, beams and wall anchors put in. Rene explained everything going on each day. They worked late to get the job done. They cleaned up. They were awesome!!! Having met with and looked into a couple of other companies, it was an easy decision to go with them – and it paid off. We were given time to consider different options (not every company affords you this time …and with a big project and financial investment, we appreciated that time). They also have the best financing options we could find.
